On Friday, protestors stormed the offices of Hobart newspaper The Mercury to preform a ‘mass die-in’ to “call on the media to tell the truth about the climate crisis”.

    What a great movement!

Finally somebody is trying to do something for our planet and our survival! I know many of the protestors and I am very proud of them. They are giving a wake up call to all of us. Good kids, good people! God bless them! Our Earth is worth fighting for!

Last time I looked we all lived in a globe (planet) it has 1 bubble of gas (that is not separated into “country zones” or contained by borders) meaning we ALL share the same air.

Now Australia has a population of about 25 million.

China (who buys most of our coal) has about 3000 coal fired power stations & is building another 3000. And has a population of well over 1,000,000,000 (billion)

India has over 2500 coal fired power stations & is building another 3000, and has a population of over 1,000,000,000 (billion) as well.

Russia has over 2000 coal fired power stations & is building a couple thousand more & has a population of about 300,000,000

America likewise has a few thousand coal fired power stations & is building more.

Then there’s the rest of Europe, Asia, South America, Canada etc

Now anyone who thinks our (Australia’s) emissions is going to make any difference at all should contact me immediately as I have some brand new moon rocks for sale

In other words for ANY carbon emission strategy to work EVERY single country in the world would have to have the same policy & again if anyone thinks that will happen they should get in touch with me about those moon rocks.

*Or* I have some beachside property at Ayers Rock you can purchase pretty cheaply.

    Fantastic!
It’s heartening that so many people care enough about the tomorrows of the future to get out and to shout out
