Man dies after Blackmans Bay stabbing incident

Sadly a 41 year old man has died following an incident at a service station in Blackmans Bay this afternoon.
Police and emergency services were called to the Coles Express service station in Roslyn Avenue about 2.50pm.
The 41 year old man was transported to the Royal Hobart Hospital with a stab wound to the stomach, where he sadly passed away later earlier this evening.
A youth was arrested at the scene and remains in custody assisting police with their inquiries.

Tasmania Police responded to a wounding at the Coles Express service station on Roslyn Avenue at Blackmans Bay shortly before 3.00pm this afternoon. A male youth has been taken into custody, whilst the 41 year male victim has been conveyed by ambulance to the Royal Hobart Hospital suffering from a stab wound.
Uniform, CIB and forensics officers are in attendance at the scene, and further detail will be provided at a later time.
Service at the service station has been disrupted, whilst initial investigations are carried out.
