Sarah Paino killer BACK behind bars after breaching parole

Written by on August 23, 2019

The Hobart teenager convicted of manslaughter over the 2016 death of pregnant Hobart mother Sarah Paino is now back behind bars, just weeks after being granted parole.

The teenager, who was 15 years old at the time, pleaded guilty to one count of manslaughter, and was sentenced as an adult to 5 years imprisonment with a non parole period of 2.5 years in August of 2016 after he and three younger friends stole a Toyota vehicle and went on a deadly joy ride across Hobart in January of 2016, travelling at a minimum speed of 110km/h with no headlights.

The now 19 year old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, became eligible for consideration of parole on July 21 2018, but was refused release at his first appearance because he needed to “engage more in addressing his offending behaviour and addictions”. He was released from jail on August 6 this year.

Words within any dictionary can explain what the hell is wrong with the Tasmanian judicial system? Those that released that wasteful human being that stole that car, drove like a maniac and killed Sarah Paino. A beautiful mother just doing something like dropping her husband at work never thinking that some God forsaken maniac would steal a car, drive straight into her, kill her and almost her new born baby. I would lock him up for life, and throw away the key! This punk has no right to life! He was born bad and will remain that way, do not spare him a second of freedom for the the safety of other human beings. We will never forget Sarah!
