We knew something was coming, we just didn’t know how overt it was going to be!
You might have heard over recent weeks the struggle going on between Taylor Swift and her former label Big Machine Records, headed up by Scott Borchetta and Scooter Braun.
Taylor received the Artist Of The Decade gong at this morning’s American Music Awards, and as part of that, the organisers asked Taylor to perform a medley of her hits, but Borchetta and Braun said she wasn’t allowed to because she doesn’t own the rights to them she does.

Well, Taylor being Taylor, decided to show her dismay at the situation with her former label, by performing with the titles of her albums that she wasn’t allowed to perform on her shirt.
🗣 @taylorswift13 opened with THE MAN: “I’m so sick of them coming at me again / ‘Cause if I was a man, then I’d be the man / They’d say I hustled, put in the work / They wouldn’t shake their heads and question how much of this I deserve.” #TaylorOnAMAs #AMAs pic.twitter.com/N0me4Rd1U6

The performance wasn’t just about the stows though, with Taylor moving on to songs old and new, even getting some help from Camila Cabello and Halsey to perform her hit single “Shake It Off.”
